My 86 Cabriolet. It’s been in storage since October ish. I replaced the brake master cylinder and bled it today. Took it for a quick drive and... oh my god do I miss daily driving this car. It needs the suspension refreshed , the motor needs a tune up (CIS), a bit of interior work (swap in better front seats, install my spare rears), and to be driven. It’s horrifyingly fun.
I can’t wait for spring. In March, she comes back out.

I recently saw some nut in a VW Cabrio apparently moving their apartment (top up, no less). It was pushing it a bit, but seemed feasible.

A Mk3 I assume? There’s almost zero cargo space in a Mk1.

Nope, mk I. She had the boxes stacked roughly where the people should go but the tight fit was what made me notice in the first place.
You should try it; I’m sure it wouldn’t impair visibility at all :)

Did you put the top down? It was warm enough today.

Oh yes. I just ripped around town for a bit, not too long as it had expired temp tags on it. I have hard plates and registry but never put them on before I stored it.

That’s ridiculous. I couldn’t imagine having one as an only car. They’re very silly.

Maybe their other car was even smaller and even more ridiculous. Or maybe an i ll timed breakdown of their DD. Does make you wonder. . .
